Michael is a Member of the Advisory Board of Everest Healthcare Properties. He provides strategic advice to the firm regarding origination and evaluation of new investment opportunities in the medical office buildings and seniors housing spaces, as well as M&A, fundraising and capital markets transactions.

In addition, Michael is the Head of Business Development and Investor Relations of Versant Investment Management. Prior to joining Versant in 2017, he served as a Managing Director of Fortress Investment Group. Prior to joining Fortress in 2009, Michael spent ten years with Deutsche Bank where he was most recently a Managing Director in the Institutional Client Group with responsibility for the Bank’s largest North American clients. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank in 1999, he served as Co-Head of Mortgage Backed Securities Trading at Lehman Brothers where he started his career in 1986.

Michael graduated from St. Catharine’s College, Cambridge University with an undergraduate degree in Engineering Science and a postgraduate diploma in Computer Science. Whilst at Cambridge University, he played rugby for the University 1st XV for three years.
